Chef owner Iain Mckey has over 20 years experience in the food industry and was previously head chef at The Crown Hotel in Wetheral before opening Keez Bistro in 2005 in Carlisle, Cumbria.
With a reputation for using quality fresh local produce, locals and regulars began requesting outside catering for weddings and private dinners and so Bespoke Catering Cumbria was born.
Since starting Bespoke Catering Cumbria, Iain has become a dad for the second time and brings the family ethos into his food. “As a dad i have to make food exciting and delicious and that is what i want for Bespoke Catering”

He is an inventive chef and regularly changes the menu to ensure that he can use fresh seasonal produce and also keep the selection of foods varied and interesting.
He made us both feel that we had known him for years and made sure our special day was one to remember for years to come.
Everyone remarked on the food and said how much they had enjoyed it, the pulled port in the evening seemed to be a particular favourite but me I liked the chicken best. And the salads…, and the pudding… and..
We have also had so many comments complimenting the quality of the BBQ food, and the pulled pork sandwiches went down a treat in the evening. Iain was also excellent at catering for our vegetarian and vegan guests.
